Als die Hamburger Kultglamrockband THE PLEASURES das letzte Mal im Knust spielte, waren sie damals Support der finnischen Glamrocklegenden von HANOI ROCKS. Am 05.05.2024 kommen sie im 20sten Jubiläumsjahr der Band zurück und zwar ganz allein und bringen ihre pompöse Glittershow mit hochtoupierten Haaren, engen Spandex, brennenden Gitarren erneut auf die Bühne ins Knust.
Eigene Glittersongs der letzten 20 Jahre und etlicher Alben sowie eine Handvoll Coversongs ihrer Idole der Rocky Horror-Show bis Van Halen wollen zelebriert werden, bis das gesamte Publikum mit macht Wer glaubt, hier rockt „Boy George nach einem Bühnenbrand“ (Quelle: Nightlife, Berlin) dem sei gesagt:

When the Hamburg cult glam rock band THE PLEASURES played at Knust for the last time, they were supporting the Finnish glam rock legends HANOI ROCKS. On May 5th, 2024, they will be back in the band's 20th anniversary year, all alone, and will once again bring their pompous glitter show with backcombed hair, tight spandex, burning guitars to the Knust stage. Own glitter songs from the last 20 years and several albums as well as a handful of cover songs by their idols from the Rocky Horror Show to Van Halen want to be celebrated until the entire audience joins in. Whoever believes that "Boy George is rocking here after a stage fire" (source: Nightlife, Berlin) that should be said: Here come THE PLEASURES!
