KICKIN VALENTINA plays loud unapologetic rock n roll. In April 2024 KICKIN VALENTINA will release their 4th full length album “Star Spangled Fist Fight” worldwide on Mighty Music/Target Group. The album was once again produced by Andy Reilly (UFO, Bruce Dickinson, Cradle of Filth) at Muse Productions in Atlanta, and Mastered by Joel Wanasek. “It’s been way too long since our last album, and we are really excited about “Star Spangled Fist Fight.” I know every band says this, but I think this is our best album so far. Everything just seemed to click while we were writing it.” States Bassist Chris Taylor.

Kneipenhardrock wie in den 80ern. Pretentiös wie ein tiefergelegter Opel Manta. Also gar nicht. Vorallem sind diese Typen keine Party-Klassiker-Tanz-Kapelle für den 60sten Geburtstag von Tante Else oder Euren Kegelklub. Es wird nix geschauspielert, nix gepost. Nur gerockt. Dirty Dirk ist echt.
Es geht hier um Rocknroll. Harten Rock. Um Druck von der Rhythmusgruppe und schneidende Stromgitarren. Um Authentizität. Um Musik von Judas Priest, AC/DC, Motley Crue, Stones, Hendrix und um anderes Geschraddel, das schon alt war, als alle rund um Dirty Dirk noch jung waren.
Was aussieht wie ne Therapiegruppe alter Säcke, ist in Wahrheit das echte Leben hier aufm Land ü40. Dirty Dirk and the Done Dirt Cheaps sind ein paar Rocker, die beste Kumpels sind. Da wir zufällig Musikinstrumente besitzen, haben wir versucht zu Dirks 40tem Geburtstag Krach zu machen. Er wollte damals unbedingt mal singen und hey, das ist uns da sehr gut gelungen. Keiner weiß wie und warum.
