Bio

Was andere Bands lange und teilweise erfolglos suchen, hat Javiot schon früh gefunden: ihre musikalische Identität. Statt ausgelutschte Konzepte oder aktuelle Trends zu kopieren, kombinieren sie ihre völlig unterschiedlichen musikalischen Backgrounds, um etwas Neues zu schaffen.

Ihr Sound, am ehesten zwischen Acoustic- und Alternative-Rock einzuordnen, wird von den eingängigen Melodien zweier Akustikgitarren geprägt. Die druckvollen Drums sorgen im Zusammenspiel mit dem Bass für tanzbare Rhythmen und sind dabei perfekte Grundlage für die gezielt eingebrachten Scratches und Synthie-Sounds des DJs. Am Mikrofon ergänzt Drummer Jan Fremgen die charismatische Stimme von Leadsänger Hannes Gotschy, abwechselnd oder zweistimmig bohren sie sich mit Texten zum Mitsingen in die Ohren der Zuhörer.

Some say finding their musical identity is hard for bands. But Javiot proved the opposite, as they showed us their inimitable sounds within their first few songs. Instead of copying the latest trends, or using common drafts all over again, they combine their completely different musical backgrounds, to create something new.
Their sound is coined by the neat melodys of two acoustic guitars, and can mostly be integrated in Acoustic-/Alternative-Rock. Powerful drums, which, together with bass, create wonderful dance rhythms, seem like the perfekt base for the specificly used scratches and synthie-sounds of their DJ. Jan Fremgen completes the charismatic voice of lead singer Hannes Gotschy at the mirco, and whether sung rotational or in two voices – their lyrics and of course their melodies will stay in your mind.

Live/Resident History

Zusammen spielten die 5 Musiker bereits über 50 Konzerte, darunter auch Auftritte im europäischen Ausland. Nachdem ihre erste Single „With The Rain“ mit einer sechswöchigen Top-3-Platzierung in der DASDING-Netzparade durchstartete, folgte im Juli 2010 das aktuelle Album: „Life’s About Falling and Standing Up Again“ mit der Singleauskopplung „Antic“.

Together the five musicians already played over 50 concerts, among them a few in different european countries. After their first single „With The Rain“ was immediatly listed in the Top 3 of a regional radio channel (called DASDING), and stayed there for six weeks, July 2010 now brought us their new album „Life’s About Falling and Standing Up Again“, including their new single „Antic“.
