#Künstlerïn #Studentin #Arbeiterin - Wir fühlen uns oft nicht gut genug für die Aufgabe, vor der wir stehen. Vielleicht werden wir nicht genügen? Uns selbst nicht, unseren Erwartungen, und auch nicht denen der anderen.
Auf Ungarisch gibt es für dieses Gefühl einen Ausdruck „megfelelési kényszer“ oder kurz „MFK“. Was zeichnet den hohen Standard von „MFK“ in Ungarn aus? Was gibt es da noch zu lernen? Wie verbindet und trennt uns dieser sogenannte Entsprechungszwang in Budapest und in Berlin? Und wie setzen wir ihm etwas entgegen?
Die Ästhetik des ungarisch-internationalen Kollektivs Pneuma Szöv. trifft auf junge Budapester Kunstschaffende und Performance-Studierende der Freeszfe.

Diese „MFK“-Expert*innen laden Berliner*innen zu einem gemeinsamen Abend ein. Was geht aktuell in Budapest? Kommt vorbei und macht mit in der Formung einer gemeinsamen A.I. (artistic intelligence). Wir agieren gemeinsam gegen den Zwang zu genügen. Genügen wir schon für einen Theaterabend?

Freeszfe Society ist ein Verein, der 2021 nach der erzwungenen Privatisierung der Hochschule für Theater- und Filmkunst in Budapest gegründet wurde. Die Performance-Klasse ist ein experimentelles Studienprogramm an der Freeszfe, das erste Performance-Studienprogramm in Ungarn überhaupt. Er umfasst neue und innovative Formen, die über die traditionellen Genres Theater, Tanz usw. hinausgehen.

Das Netzwerkkollektiv Pneuma Szöv. verbindet kollaborative Praxis, Performance, Medien, Kunst im öffentlichen Raum mit Konzepten der freien Pädagogik, Aktivismus und niedrigschwelliger sozialer Ermächtigung. Sie eignen sich Räume an, bewohnen sie und widmen sie neuen Zwecken.

#Artist #Student #Worker - We often don't feel good enough for the task we face. Maybe we won't measure up? Not to ourselves, to our expectations, to those of others. In Hungarian this is called "megfelelési kényszer"- a very complex term, for us short "MFK". What characterizes the high standard of MFK in Hungary? What can we learn from the Hungarian state of the art? How does this 'urge to measure up' connect and separate us in Budapest and Berlin? And how can we counter it, right now!

The aesthetics of the Hungarian-international collective Pneuma Szöv. met young Budapest artists and performance students from Freeszfe. Tonight, these MFK experts invite Berliners to an evening together. What's actually going on in Budapest? Come along and take part in the formation of a common A.I. (artistic intelligence). We act together against the compulsion to suffice. Are we enough for a theater evening?

Freeszfe Society is an emergent association created in 2021 after the forced privatisation of the Theatre and Film Arts University in Budapest. The Performance class is an experimental study programme at Freeszfe, the first ever performance studies programme in Hungary. It covers new and innovative forms reaching beyond the traditional genres of theatre, dance etc.

The artistic network collective Pneuma Szöv. combine collaborative practise, performance, media, public art with free pedagogy concepts, activism and low-threshold social empowerment. They appropriate and inhabit spaces and rededicate them to new purposes.
