In den vergangenen Jahren hat die Künstlerin Netta Weiser im Rahmen ihres langfristigen Projekts Radio-Choreography bewegten Körpern durch Mikrofone, Lautsprecher und Radioübertragungen zugehört. Nach Jahren des Zuhörens von Tanz durch Soundtechnologien fragt diese neue Arbeit danach, wie das Zuhören selbst choreografiert und performt werden kann.
Hier entsteht Choreografie durch Akte des Zuhörens statt des Sehens. Die Stimme wird zu einer Form der Berührung und Einstimmung zu einer Weise, sich gemeinsam zu bewegen.
Im Kern der Arbeit stehen choreografische Interpretationen von Listening Scores der US-amerikanischen feministischen Komponistin Pauline Oliveros, die an ihre Erforschung des kollektiven Zuhörens als verkörperte, politische und aktivistische Praxis anknüpfen. Der Titel der Arbeit, The Skin Listens Too, ist ein Zitat von Oliveros.

Over the past several years, artist Netta Weiser has been listening to moving bodies through microphones, loudspeakers, and radio transmissions, as part of her long-term project Radio-Choreography. Here, choreography emerges through acts of listening rather than seeing. Voice becomes a form of touch, and attunement a way of moving together.
At the core of the work are choreographic interpretations of listening scores by U.S.-American feminist composer Pauline Oliveros, drawing from her exploration of collective listening as an embodied, political, and activist practice. The title of the piece, The Skin Listens Too, is a quote from Oliveros.
