They'll share some of their memories and experiences from the beginnings of Queer Tango, talking about the joy and the fight that made it possible. "Disitango - un abrazo feminista" is a documentary by Valérie Loewensberg (2025), shot mostly in Argentina. Tango has long been associated with machismo. Yet in recent years, feminism and the LGBTQIA+ movement have been reshaping tango, opening it up to new forms of expression and inclusion. The solemn charm of traditional tango now intertwines with androgynous bodies, and a new freedom emerges - creative, technical, but above all emotional, embracing the diversity and plurality of gender identities. As always, we invite queer and double role dancers as well as everyone who enjoys dancing in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere to our milonga.
