"Matik started out in the early ninetees, instantly hooked by a friend's selfmade jungle-mixtape he began to collect records from there on and started to organise parties - at some point he got his self an akai S2800 and started making beats. Some of you could know him from his Dj Residency at the Subsonic Pressure events at the Luna Club in Kiel.
Right before that time he also made friends with DJ Subz. They started to play together and make beats. You can check them out on labels such as Basswerk, Santorin, Trust in music and Citrus recordings."
