The Night Train XL

What is The Night Train XL?
The Night Train is a swing dance/lindy hop event held in Cologne that celebrates African American jazz dance styles. It is a collaboration with Tanzraum and commenced in 2023. The aim is to bring people together in a swing groove.
The Night Train XL is a unique event featuring a nighttime party and daytime workshops led by various talents from the community in NRW and beyond. Collaboration and community spirit are central to the event, as we believe in collective growth and unity.
What to expect?
- 5 hours Lindy Hop/Swing Dance Party
- 2 hours Total Beginner Track Lindy Hop (no experiences, no partner is needed)
- 1,5 hour Lindy Hop Class with Marion and Stefan (from Int-Adv)
- 6 Theme Classes (Solo, Lindy Hop, Yoga for dancers, etc)
- Music Talk
- Competition
- Tasters (Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing)
- Free access to WCS Party
