Das BABYLON startete am 8. März 2014 die samstägliche Reihe Stummfilm um Mitternacht für Berliner Nachtschwärmer. Der Eintritt ist FREI, nach dem Motto NULL Uhr – NULL Euro.

Die „Nacht-Filme“ zur Geisterstunde: Eine Reihe über Großstadt-Feeling, Nachtleben, Frivoles und Gruseliges.
Einige Produktionen wurden beim Kinostart sogar mit einem Jugendverbot belegt.
Das BABYLON begann vor fast 100 Jahren am 10. April 1929 als #Stummfilmkino. Die Tradition der Kinopaläste – bis heute lebendig in London und Los Angeles – kam wieder nach Berlin ins Babylon mit unseren festangestellten KinoOrganistin Anna Vavilkina: Sie spielt außer zu Stummfilmen auch nahezu täglich vor den Filmvorführungen und Live-Veranstaltungen.
Das ist einmalig in der deutschen Kinoszene.

The BABYLON started the Saturday series Silent Film at Midnight for Berlin night owls on 8 March 2013. Admission is FREE, according to the motto ZERO o'clock - ZERO euros.

The #silentFilms at the witching hour: A series about big city feeling, nightlife, frivolous and spooky.
Some productions were even banned for young people when they were released.
The BABYLON began almost 100 years ago on 10 April 1929 as a #silentfilm cinema. The tradition of cinema palaces - still alive today in London and Los Angeles - came back to Berlin to the Babylon with our permanent cinema organist Anna Vavilkina: apart from silent films, she also plays almost daily before film screenings and live events.
This is unique in the German cinema scene.
