Seasick Steve, un chanteur et auteur-compositeur américain, a fait ses débuts mémorables au Hootenanny de Jools Holland sur la BBC en 2006 avec juste une guitare japonaise usée à trois cordes. Dès lors, il est devenu un favori au Royaume-Uni et au-delà, se surprenant lui-même par l'accueil enthousiaste qu'il a reçu.
Avec près de 2 millions de disques vendus dans le monde entier et trois albums classés dans le top dix au Royaume-Uni, le nouvel album de Seasick Steve, "A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down on Your Knees", sortira le 7 juin 2024 via So Recordings. Il décrit cet album comme son préféré à ce jour, créé quelque peu accidentellement mais avec une fierté profonde. Excité de partir en tournée pour interpréter des morceaux de l'album, Seasick Steve annonce une tournée pour l'été et l'automne 2024, avec des arrêts à Bruxelles, Berlin et Cambridge.
Seasick Steve, an American singer/songwriter, made a memorable debut on Jools Holland's BBC Hootenanny in 2006 with just a beat-up Japanese guitar and three strings, capturing the hearts of many. With almost 2 million records sold globally and three top ten albums in the UK charts, Seasick Steve's new album, "A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down on Your Knees," is set to release on June 7, 2024, via So Recordings.
