SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronyms) | Live in Berlin
On 23.10.2026, SDH bring their Barcelona darkwave to Kulturhaus Insel, Berlin.
SDH are the duo of Andrea P. Latorre and Sergi Algiz, two key figures of Barcelona's synth-wave and industrial scene (also of post-punk band Wind Atlas). Their music pairs Latorre's romantic, melancholic vocals with Algiz's cold electronic machines – darkwave shot through with coldwave, EBM, techno and synth-pop, melancholic and danceable in equal measure. They describe it as "cruelly sexy electronic music," and since their 2018 debut on Avant! Records they've electrified club floors across Europe, sharing stages with Marie Davidson and Merchandise and appearing at darkwave institutions like Kalabalik På Tyrolen.
This autumn they tour their new album Rider (2026) – "crash-body music" that's physical, tense and direct: sharp synths, insistent rhythms, a colder and more contemporary edge. Expect shadow, tension and a dancefloor that doesn't let up.
