PILLS FOR TOMORROW
Pills For Tomorrow is a shoegaze and psychedelic-influenced band from Grenoble, France. Deeply rooted in the British music scene of the late 20th century, the band embraces a distinct identity: that of lucid, sincere dreamers for whom music is not a pose, but an alternative to the pills of everyday life — a way of inhabiting the world differently.
Formed in 2023, the band features Nathalie Valion (vocals, lyricist), Laurent Gouviaux
(guitar, composition), Fabrice Brenchenmacher (guitar, arrangements), Laurent Prost (bass), and Augustin Garnier (drums).
In 2024, the band released their debut six-track EP Castle Rock, including an adaptation of “Shadowplay” as a tribute to Joy Division.
Musically, the band openly draws from shoegaze and neo-psychedelic influences (My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Mogwai, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, among others). Intertwined guitars blend sharp riffs with lush textures, driven by a tight rhythm section, while the vocals rise with restraint and sensitivity to reflect an era where tomorrow doesn’t always come without chemical support.
In 2024, the band performed at the Musique en Stock and later opened for the American band Film School at Supersonic in Paris. Following a first UK show in June 2025, they were also selected to perform at the All Dayer Shoegaze Festivalthat same year.
Production of a new 10-track album began in 2025. Funded through crowdfunding, recording took place in September 2025 in Italy under the direction of Paolo Canaglia (New Candys, Glazyhaze).
With The Day They Killed Morpheus, Pills For Tomorrow delivers a manifesto-like and therapeutic album for troubled times — capturing that brutal moment when one realizes it is no longer possible to naively dream of a better world. For the band, creation is an act of resistance: a way to reinvent one’s own dreams.
The first single is scheduled for release in March 2026, followed by two additional singles and a focus track alongside the album ...Mehr anzeigen release in late 2026. Several live dates are planned in the meantime, leading up to a UK tour in November and a hometown release party in Grenoble at the end of the year.

Den Abend wird Hyperlilly, eine junge Band aus Düsseldorf einleiten. Bereits 2024 haben sie uns im Familienzentrum Drehscheibe mit ihrem kraftvollen Sound begeistert. "Hyperlilly ist eine fünfköpfige Band aus Düsseldorf, welche die verträumten, ätherischen Elemente von Shoegaze mit der Leichtigkeit von Indie und Dreampop verwebt. Ihr Sound ist eine Flucht aus der Realität und schafft Raum für die Romantisierung von Träumen. Schwebende Gitarren, sanfte Melancholie und verträumte Klangflächen prägen den Sound von Hyperlilly."
