Maria Taylor is a singer-songwriter known for her hushed vocals, widescreen atmospheres, and emotionally resonant storytelling, both as a solo artist and as a founding member of Azure Ray. Her forthcoming album Story’s End unfolds like a hazy, cinematic narrative—songs acting as chapters that trace love, loss, fracture, and the quiet search for solace in the aftermath. ...Mehr anzeigen Written over several years and shaped by profound personal upheaval, the record finds Taylor expanding the signature elements of her work—bell-like piano, sweeping strings, and intimate lyricism—into something more nuanced and life-affirming. Recorded between her California home studio and ARC Studios in Omaha, Story’s End features collaborations with Mike Mogis, Ben Brodin, Brad Armstrong, Conor Oberst, Nate Walcott, and others, and culminates in a fragile sense of transformation and hope. At once journal-like and cinematic, Story’s End offers a place of reflection and consolation, paying close attention to the fleeting moments that quietly give life its meaning.Weniger anzeigen
