Moers-Scherpenberg: Am Samstag, den 29. Juni steht ab 20:00 Uhr die Heavy Metal-Band “GLORYFUL“ nach langer Zeit wieder auf der Bühne im Moerser Dschungel-Club. Wer sie schon erlebt hat weiß, hier kracht es richtig.

“GLORYFUL”: Johnny La Bomba and Jens Basten founded GLORYFUL in the summer of 2010. The 3-track demo „Sedna‘s Revenge“ gained them a high reputation in the heavy metal underground, and the band soon started to play the opening slot for bands like Powerwolf, Vicious Rumours, Orden Ogan or Helstar, and left pleased crowds with high expectations for the debut album behind. The debut „The Warrior‘s Code“, produced by Dan Swanö, was released in May 2013 and received rave reviews from international fans and the press alike. The album was then promoted over the course of more than 30 gigs with bands like Queensryche, Axxis, Bullet or High Spirits. Only 10 months after the release of the strong debut, the five heavy metal maniacs released the studio album „Ocean Blade“, which was praised worldwide. The fan base grew even larger due to live gigs with acts like Accept, Hammerfall and Powerwolf. „End Of The Night, the band’s 3rd album, was released 08-2016. Whoever thought that they can’t get any better, was clearly wrong: The record once again was full of potential hit songs, and the band’s most mature and sophisticated effort so far. The album release was followed by european tour with Victor Smolski´s ALMANAC and the band performed furious live shows at open air festivals like Summer Breeze Open Air and Dong Open Air. Right after the festival season 2017, the band cooncentrated on songwriting for album no. 4…
The new album CULT OF SEDNA was recorded by the band in their new Metal4Metal Studio and mixed and mastered by Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studio (Anvil, Krisiun, God Dethroned, Dew-Scented) in Okt/Nov 2018. The classic mythic and most darkest Gloryful cover artwork was painted by one of the greatest german artists Axel Hoffmann (Iced Earth, Morgoth, Asphyx). CULT OF SEDNA is by far the heaviest and fastest album, even though it combines all the best from their first 3 albums. Tracks like „TheHunt“, „My Sacrifice“ or „TheOath“ show the more thrashier side of the band, whereas „Desert Stranger“ and „True ́Til Death“ are classic hard rock songs with a strong 80ies vibe. The album will bee released 18th January 2019, one day later the band will hit the road again to join forces with mighty Brainstorm and Mob Rules for a large European tour.

CHAPTERI2010-2012 Seit 2010 erfindet sich die Band immer wieder neu und wartet mit Rock auf, welche im Grunde nicht pauschal zu kategorisieren ist. Es erschien das direkt zum Start das erste Album „ Release Me“
CHAPTERII2012-2016 Nach dem Debütalbum „Release Me“ aus dem Jahre 2010 folgt ein Besetzungswechsel mit Dens am Gesang und der zweite Longplayer COLDSTART ging 2014 an den Start.Die Hitsingle „Burn out“ schaffte es zum Werbesong des EMP für den damaligen „The Walking Dead“-TV-Merchclip und war somit in jeder Werbepause der deutschen Liveübertragung des NFL SUPERBOWL 2016 zu hören.Nachdem Bassist und Co-Gründer Sami Ende 2016 die Band verlassen hatte, war es erstmal still um die Band.
CHAPTERIII2023 Genauso flexibel wie die Songs des Quartetts ist auch Drummer und Gründungsmitglied Rob. Rob tauschte kurzerhand die Sticks gegen dicke Saiten, um für Pio den Drumhocker zu räumen.Krys schreddert nach wie vor die dünnen Saiten und bildet zusammen mit Dens das GitarrenBrett. Seit 2020 arbeiten die Jungs an neuem Material, welches endlich 2023 den finalen Schliff erhalten hat.Die ersten Single des neuen Materials sind seit August Online verfügbar und können über die Webseite http://www.blindsoul.de abgerufen werden.
