Eel Shock is a Japanese heavy metal and garage rock trio formed in Tokyo in 1996. Known for their high-energy, classic rock-inspired sound and outrageous live performances—often featuring bare-chested frontman Aki Morimoto and former drummer Gian playing almost naked—the band has toured globally, including multiple appearances at the SXSW festival.
