DEVINE DEFILEMENT: Death Metal/Deathcore, Iceland
Devine Defilement is a death metal outfit from Reykjavík Iceland that incorporates elements of many different sub-genres of death metal into their music. Initially founded in 2016 they have been hard at work to cement themselves as one of the top extreme metal acts in their home of Iceland and are constantly looking for opportunities to expand and bring their unique blend of death metal to other countries. To date they have a handful of European runs under their belt including support for the legendary Lividity (US) on their 2019 European tour. In addition they have played countless local shows as well as Iceland’s metal oriented festivals Eistnaflug, Norðanpaunk, and Reykjavík Deathfest.

SUNBORN: Death Metal, Austria
SunBorn is an Austrian metal-band from southern Styria, and was formed in 2012.After a few years of honing their skills, songwriting, and a few gigs, they released their first EP,Liberatein late 2016.
In the following years the band went through several lineup-changes, which could not stop them, however, from releasing their first full-length studio album in 2021, Imperishable.
Throughout the years, the band’s genre generally crystallized within the realm of Groove, and Death Metal, with some more modern influences from subgenres of Core, and Tech elements. In March 2023 SunBorn joined with Kvlt und Kaos Productions, a label based in Graz.
