Formed in 2012, Bad//Dreems have risen from humble origins in an Adelaide whitegoods warehouse to one of the most vital guitar acts in the country. Their early notoriety as an unmissable live act saw them tour extensively across Australia, UK, Europe and the US supporting the likes of Midnight Oil, Pavement, At The Drive In and the Avalanches.
They play a distinctive brand of Australian Rock and Roll, which traces a lineage from cult Antipodean acts of yore such as The Saints, Coloured Balls, Midnight Oil and the Go-Betweens.
Their 4th LP “Hoo-Ha!” was released in May 2023, charting a #10 on the Australian charts and earning the band their first ARIA nomination for best rock album. The album, recorded post-pandemic, is a cultural critique of modern Australia; confronting the injustices of Australia’s colonial past and exposing the hypocrisy of her present.
