Over the past five years, Aura Davis has established herself as a fiercely honest and emotionally driven voice within the independent pop-rock landscape. Her music balances strong melodies with raw self-expression, moving between intimate moments and powerful, anthemic arrangements where vulnerability and intensity coexist.

Following her debut EP Emotionally Unavailable, Davis toured extensively across Europe, playing more than 120 shows. Often performing with just her guitar and a sound engineer, she built a loyal grassroots following through immediate, unfiltered live performances that prioritised authenticity over polish.

Her debut album Eloquently Aggressive expanded her artistic scope, exploring themes of heartbreak, identity, and self-reclamation. The record earned critical recognition and commercial milestones: Lawless Land won Best Original Song, while Hearts Don’t Bend reached #6 on the UK Commercial Pop Charts and surpassed one million streams. While confirming her songwriting strength, the album also marked a point of reflection, as its aesthetic drifted slightly from where Davis stood personally.

That clarity now defines her current direction. Backed by a full band and an official partnership with Blade Guitars, Aura Davis has shifted decisively toward alternative rock. Her newer material continues the darker emotional thread of Emotionally Unavailable, delivered with a more refined, assured, and sonically bolder execution.

Released on January 9, Do You Hate Me Now? signals this evolution with intent—darker, louder, and unapologetically raw. Fully aligned with her sound and identity, Aura Davis enters a new chapter defined by conviction rather than compromise.
