Andrew Moreno Axiom ist eine in Rotterdam ansässige Band, die 2020 hauptsächlich als Trio gegründet wurde. Sie besteht aus dem Gründungsgitarristen Andrew Moreno und dem Bassisten Jonathan Ho Chin Kiat und arbeitet derzeit mit international bekannten Künstlern wie Tineke Postma und Bo Van Der Werf für das kommende Debütalbum und Auftritte zusammen.
Die Band hat bereits an Orten wie Jazz in Crooswijk, Breda Jazz Festival, Brand New Jazz Festival, North Sea Round Town, Maassilo, Brebl, Batavierhuis, De Doelen und vielen anderen gespielt.
Im Jahr 2024 gewann das Trio den Wettbewerb des Erasmus Jazz Prize in Rotterdam und wird 2024 auf dem North Sea Jazz Festival spielen.

„Wir haben ein extrem dynamisches, vielseitiges und reifes Trio erlebt, bei dem Andrew eine klare Führungsrolle einnimmt. Er hat es geschafft, die richtigen, hochkarätigen Musiker auszuwählen, die ihn auf einer Reise durch sein eigenes musikalisches Universum begleiten… Das Trio hat ein eklektisches Set von kantigen und freien, aber dennoch zugänglichen Songs präsentiert und ist bereit, sofort auf den großen Festivals zu spielen!“

Andrew Moreno Axiom is a Rotterdam-based band, mainly going as a trio created in 2020, consisting of founding guitar player Andrew Moreno and bassist Jonathan Ho Chin Kiat and currently collaborating with International well-known artists such as Tineke Postma, Tristan Renfrow and Bo Van Der Werf for the upcoming debut album and performances.
The band has played in venues such as Jazz in Crooswijk, Breda Jazz Festival, Brand New Jazz Festival, North Sea Round Town, Maassilo, Brebl, Batavierhuis, De Doelen, beetwen others.
In 2024 the trio won the competition of the Erasmus Jazz Prize in Rotterdam and and a concert date on the North Sea Jazz Festival 2024.
