ABOUT MONSTERS - Entering a New Era of Modern Metal

The German modern metal band ABOUT MONSTERS is among the most exciting newcomers on the scene. With their debut album, which has already amassed over 3 million streams, they built a loyal fan base in a very short time. Now they are setting new standards with a refined sound and their new album Hidden Dystopia - which achieved more than 400,000 streams in its first weeks alone.

True to the motto “the only constant is change,” ABOUT MONSTERS have further evolved their style together with renowned producers Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay, Beyond the Black, Emil Bulls, etc.) and Julian Breucker (Within Temptation, Smash Into Pieces, etc.). The result is a dark, atmospheric sound defined by powerful riffs and haunting melodies.

Released in April 2025, Hidden Dystopia marks an important step in the band’s artistic development. The album title refers to the mysterious, subtly threatening atmosphere that runs like a red thread through the eleven tracks. Those who listen closely will discover a dystopian world brought to life by impressive walls of guitars and emotional lyrics.

But Hidden Dystopia is more than just an album, it is an experience. Each song opens a new window into a multifaceted sonic world full of riddles, emotions, and modern rock aesthetics. The band leaves room for interpretation and invites listeners to immerse themselves in another reality.

With their powerful music and impressive stage presence, ABOUT MONSTERS thrilled audiences in spring 2025. Their first-ever headliner tour , the Dystopic Tour, with eleven shows and over 1,000 attendees was a complete success and proves that ABOUT MONSTERS are here to stay.

Since November 2025, ABOUT MONSTERS have been joined by Bianca Herrmann as their new vocalist, and they already have 22 confirmed live dates scheduled for the first half of 2026.
