Once again, we come together in Berlin to celebrate Cumbia Fest as part of the Día de los Muertos program at Holzmarkt - a magical night where past and present meet through music, dance and memory.
Día de los Muertos is about continuity: memories, traditions and rhythms that keep moving through time, connecting us across countries. Music brings us closer to those who are no longer here, keeping their memories alive in our bodies, our stories and our movements.
For one night, the SÄALCHEN at Holzmarkt fills with live music, DJs, performances, colour and sound, while the altar becomes a meeting point between worlds, between heaven and earth - a place to remember and reconnect.
CUMBIA FEST represents Latin American sound culture in Berlin, a space where musical tradition meets the rhythms of city life.
Let the souls dance, those from here and those from beyond - let us keep living before we take flight.

After two years Kumbia Boruka is back at Cumbia Fest!
After intense touring and countless sold-out shows across Europe, they’re bringing their powerful sound back to Berlin.
The band's music reflects the sound of the Mexican streets: classic Colombian cumbia, mixed ...Mehr anzeigen with influences from reggae, dub and tropical music - psychedelic electric guitar melodies, an extensive rhythm section including guacharaca and congas, powerful and exciting brass arrangements and the brilliant sound of the accordion.
The result is a modern and conscious cumbia, hybrid and full of power, intense tropical sounds with a fierce energy that embraces the rhythms of Latin America.
Their lyrics explore the paths of life and speak of dreams and illusions, struggle and resistance, hope. Stories told from the perspective of an emigrant who carries the memory of his homeland in his heart with every step he takes.
iLLBiLLY HiTEC ft. Longfingah
The Berlin-based band is bringing powerful vibes to the dancefloor! Their show blends classic reggaetronics and bass-heavy tunes with brand new sounds infused with cumbia and Latin beats. We’re very happy to have them with us for Cumbia Fest 2026!

Una vez más nos reunimos en Berlín para celebrar el CUMBIA FEST como parte del programa del Día de los Muertos en el Holzmarkt - una noche en la que el pasado y el presente se encuentran a través de la música, el baile y el recuerdo.
La celebración del Día de los Muertos es la continuidad: recuerdos, tradiciones y ritmos que siguen vivos con el paso del tiempo y que nos conectan entre países. La música nos acerca a quienes ya no están, manteniendo vivos sus recuerdos en nuestros cuerpos, nuestras historias y nuestros movimientos.
Por una noche, el SÄALCHEN en el Holzmarkt se llena de música en vivo, DJs, performance, color y sonido, mientras el altar se convierte en un punto de reunión entre mundos, entre el cielo y la tierra - un lugar para recordar y volver a conectar.
CUMBIA FEST representa la cultura sonora de América Latina en Berlín, un espacio donde la tradición musical se encuentra con los ritmos de la vida urbana.
Que bailen las almas, las de aquí y las de allá - sigamos viviendo antes de emprender el vuelo.

Auch dieses Jahr feiern wir in Berlin das Cumbia Fest als Teil des Programms zum Día de los Muertos im Holzmarkt - eine magische Nacht, in der Vergangenheit und Gegenwart durch Musik, Tanz und Erinnerung miteinander verschmelzen.
Der Día de los Muertos ist Kontinuität: Erinnerungen, Traditionen und Rhythmen überdauern die Zeit und verbinden uns über Grenzen hinweg. Musik bringt uns jenen näher, die nicht mehr bei uns sind, und lässt ihre Geschichten in unseren Körpern und unseren Bewegungen weiterleben.
Für eine Nacht füllt sich das SÄÄLCHEN im Holzmarkt mit Live-Musik, DJs, Performances, Farben und Klängen. Der Altar wird zum Treffpunkt zwischen den Welten, zwischen Himmel und Erde - ein Ort, um innezuhalten und sich neu zu verbinden.
Das CUMBIA FEST repräsentiert dabei die Soundkultur Lateinamerikas in Berlin, ein Raum, in dem musikalische Traditionen und die Rhythmen urbanen Lebens zusammentreffen.
