Dieser Workshop ist für alle, die gerne mit Menschen Musik machen – oder machen würden, und Musik ganzheitlich erleben möchten. Was das genau heißt, lässt sich am besten durchs Mitmachen herausfinden. Von Stimme und Bewegung zum Instrument werden wir miteinander jammen und komponieren, egal ob Profi- oder Noch-Nichtmusiker*in.
Mithilfe von Konzepten, Spielen und Übungen aus dem Bereich „Community Music“ und „Musik und Bewegung“ kreieren wir zusammen Grooves und Klangwelten und kombinieren diese mit dem ein oder anderen Liedmaterial.
Zum Mitmachen brauchst du am besten gemütliche Kleidung. Gerne kannst du auch ein Instrument mitbringen! Aus logistischen Gründen werden akustische Instrumente bevorzugt.
Yannika Frank ist Sängerin, Musikpädagogin und Session-Leiterin aus Hamburg. Sie studierte Performing Arts (World Music) in Irland und nahm anschließend in Hamburg ihre Debut-EP „The Effect of Time" auf, u. a. mit Konzerten mit Rami Olsen und Khayrullo Dadoboev. Von 2022 bis 2025 kuratierte und moderierte sie die Welcome Music Session und war Teil des daraus entstandenen Musikkollektivs WelCombo. 2025 begann sie den Master in Musikpädagogik für Musik und Bewegung an der Hochschule für Musik FHNW in Basel, den sie im Sommer 2026 abschloss. Sie arbeitet als Lehrperson für Rhythmik und „Musik und Bewegung" in Basel-Stadt und leitet gemeinsam mit Linda Gerber seit zwei Jahren die monatliche „Perli Session", eine Community Music & Jam Session in Basel.
Linda Gerber ist Musik- und Bewegungspädagogin. Die Freude an der Musik und am Tanz begleitet sie von klein auf. Ihre Grundausbildung (BA Musik und Bewegung) hat sie in Biel absolviert und bereits im ...Mehr anzeigen Kindergarten, in der Kita, an der Sonderschule und an der Musikschule gearbeitet.
Aktuell ist sie als Musiklehrerin an der Primarschule in Basel-Stadt und in der Arbeit mit jungen Erwachsenen in Liestal (CH) tätig. Ihre Schwerpunkte sind Improvisation und Rhythmus, sowie körperliche Warm-Ups. Beziehung ist für sie das Fundament von musikalischem Zusammenspiel. Sie möchte Musikräume schaffen, in denen jede*r sich unabhängig von Vorerfahrungen einbringen und entfalten kann.

This workshop is for anyone who enjoys making music with others – or would like to – and wants to experience music holistically. What that means exactly is best discovered by taking part. From voice and movement to instruments, we'll jam and compose together, whether you're a professional musician or not.
Using concepts, games, and exercises from the fields of "Community Music" and "Music and Movement," we'll create grooves and soundscapes together and combine them with some song material.
To join in, comfortable clothing is recommended. Feel free to bring an instrument! For logistical reasons, acoustic instruments are preferred.
Yannika Frank is a singer, music educator, and session leader from Hamburg. She studied Performing Arts (World Music) in Ireland and then recorded her debut EP "The Effect of Time" in Hamburg, performing concerts with Rami Olsen and Khayrullo Dadoboev, among others. From 2022 to 2025, she curated and hosted the Welcome Music Session and was part of the resulting music collective WelCombo. In 2025, she began a Master's in Music Pedagogy for Music and Movement at the Hochschule für Musik FHNW in Basel, graduating in summer 2026. She works as a teacher for Rhythmics and "Music and Movement" in Basel-Stadt and, together with Linda Gerber, has led the monthly "Perli Session," a community music and jam session in Basel, for the past two years.
Linda Gerber is a music and movement educator. Her love of music and dance has stayed with her since childhood. She completed her foundational training (BA in Music and Movement) in Biel and has worked in kindergartens, daycare centers, special-needs schools, and music schools.
She currently teaches music at a primary school in Basel-Stadt and works with young adults in Liestal (CH). Her focus areas are improvisation, rhythm, and physical warm-ups. For her, relationship is the foundation of musical interplay. Her goal is to create musical spaces where everyone can contribute and grow, regardless of prior experience.
