Bio

Xell mixes all the music he loves: Classic, Metal and Folklore from Bulgaria. Sounds strange, but it works! It is more than music, it is his cross-cultural language.
THEBULGARIANMETALBLOWOUTPOWERCORE'N'SPEEDUPMUSICSTALGIA offers 42 minutes of schizophrenic sounds. Recorded in different studios, Xell (who was born in Bulgaria and raised in Germany) worked hard on his musical visions and created a piece of music that stands for itself. No boundaries, everything is possible.
THEBULGARIANMETALBLOWOUTPOWERCORE'N'SPEEDUPMUSICSTALGIA was recorded with a lot of guest musicians. Bassist Daniel Bätge (Clueso), drummer Tim Neuhaus (who played as a guest on a tour with Germanys Die Apokalyptischen Reiter) or star-saxophonist Vlado Karparov, to name a few. Mix and mastering was done by Andi Bueckle (Blue Man Group etc.). The line-up for live shows includes Tom Fountainhead (git.), Joseph Conrad (bass), Florence Konkel (violin) and Toni (dr). Together with Xell they call themselves the Schizophonic Orkestar.
Extensive but catchy, different but close. Words are not enough to describe the music of Xell. Take the trip and you will agree! (Not only) for fans of Dream Theater, Rammstein and Mr. Bungle.
