April 2009. Four musicians from Frankfurt decide to dedicate themselves to the American punkrock forming the band PROFILE ME: Bastian (vocals), Felix (bass/vocals), Jonathan (guitar/vocals) and Tobias (drums). Gaining their experience among other things from combined band projects, PROFILE ME soon develop their own sound which is something between emo of the 90`s, such as Samiam, and updated american punk like The Loved Ones or Anti Flag.
Multiplicity plays a big role in the songwriting of PROFILE ME which also becomes apparent in their dynamic liveshows where chasing guitar- and bassriffs follow slow moments. They were already able to convince as support for some international acts, such as Polar Bear Club (USA), Useless ID (Israel), Mute (Can) and more.
In March 2010 PROFILE ME started the recording of their first EP. Together with co producer Frank Rahm the band recorded in Troisdorf (Blubox) where Guido Lucas produced and mastered "Lights Out On Mainstreet". The CD was published on 08/03/2010 by themselves.
April 2009. Vier Musiker aus Frankfurt beschließen sich fortan dem amerikanischen Punkrock zu widmen und gründen PROFILE ME.
Bastian (Vocals), Felix (Bass/Vocals), Jonathan (Guitar/Vocals) und Tobias (Drums), die alle einiges an Erfahrung aus teilweise gemeinsamen Bandprojekten mitbringen, finden schnell einen gemeinsamen Nenner und entwickeln zügig ein eigenes Soundprofil.
Dieses bewegt sich irgendwo zwischen 90'er Jahre Emo wie z.B. Samiam und aktuellem Amipunk der Marke The Loved Ones oder Anti Flag.
Vielfalt beim Songwriting spielt bei PROFILE ME eine wichtige Rolle.
Dies wird auch bei den energiegeladenen Live Shows deutlich in denen sich ruhige Momente mit treibenden Gitarren- und Basssalven aneinander reihen.
So konnten PROFILE ME bereits als Support der internationalen Acts Polar Bear Club (USA), Useless ID (Israel) und Mute (Can) sowie weiterer nationaler Bands überzeugen.
Im März 2010 wurde dann die erste EP in Angriff genommen. Zusammen mit Frank Rahm ging es in die Blubox nach Troisdorf wo Guido Lucas „Lights Out On Mainstreet" produzierte und masterte.
Die CD wurde am 3.8.2010 selbst veröffentlicht.
