State of Martial Law

Rock ´n´ Roll – mit diesem einfachen und wohlbekannten Ausdruck lässt sich die  Band STATE OF MARTIAL LAW, besser bekannt als STATE, wohl am ehesten beschreiben. Seit 2006 schreiben die vier Jungs Matze, Bastian, Roland und Frontmann Martin Eugler  an ihren eigenen Songs.
So konnte sich die Band bereits im März 2007 bei der Teilnahme am Talentwettbewerb „AZ SZENE STAR“ den ersten Platz erspielen.  
Vergleiche zu internationalen Acts wie Audioslave, Creed, Extreme, und 3 Doors Down werden beim Hören des in 2008 in den Backyard Studios aufgenommenen Albums „DEAD END“ gezogen, das sich bereits damals über 500 Mal verkaufte. 

STATE spielte bereits auf Konzerten vor großem Publikum. Auf Festivalgrößen wie dem Southside mit Acts wie Nine Inch Nails, Disturbed, The Sweet und Eagles of Death Metal und in über 70 Shows europaweit  konnten die vier sympathischen Jungs aus Süddeutschland bereits beweisen, dass ihre Musik mehr als nur ein Hobby ist. 

Ehrgeiz, Können und vor allem Talent waren ausschlaggebende Kriterien für den Produzenten Markus Gumball, STATE OF MARTIAL LAW zu produzieren. Von Dezember 2009 bis April 2010 arbeitete die Band gemeinsam mit Markus Gumball in Göttingen in den Cubeaudio Studios an ihrer neuen EP, welche aktuell im Sommer 2010 releast wurde.

Rock ´n´ Roll – with this simple and well-known phrase, the band STATE OF MARTIAL LAW – better known as STATE - can be described the best way. Since 2006 the four guys Matze, Bastian, Roland and frontman Martin Eugler have been writing their own songs.In March of 2007 the band participated in the talent competition "AZ SZENE STAR" and won the first place.
When listening to their debut album "DEAD END", which has sold more than a 500 copies, they can be compared with such international acts as Audioslave, Creed, Extreme, and 3 Doors Down.

STATE has played at concerts with large audiences, such as the Southside Festival with acts like Nine Inch Nails, Disturbed, The Sweet and Eagles of Death Metal. With over 70 shows throughout Europe, the four guys from southern Germany have proven that their music is more than just a hobby.

For the producer Markus Gumball, ambition, skill and above all talent were key criteria of producing STATE OF MARTIAL LAW. From December 2009 until April 2010, the band worked together with him in Göttingen at the Cubeaudio Studios on their new EP, which was released in summer 2010.
