Bio
Biography:
Senator is an energetic metal-band which was founded in 2004 by guitars/vocals Eric and lead-guitar René whom chose Martijn as their bassist. After having a few drummers, Pim finally got into the band in April 2004 to cover the drums. With the intensity and brutal force which is in their debut EP “War Disciples”, the band hopes to be performing for a larger public coming year.
The band did a few slight performances up till now, competed at a few competitions and didn’t let it flow by without getting success. So the band will perform at the semi-finales of the international “Emerganza” festival on the 12th of May and they won the public award at the finales of “Kippevel”. Beside this they decided to stay a bit on the background.
But it hasn’t been an easy streak for the band. When we were busy on building ower own studio and the plans for recording de EP were made, Martijn decided to depart the band. So they needed a new bassist first of all. Luckily Eric was the one who knew a fantastic bassist whom finally paced Martijn’s tracks. Together with Rick at the bass they recorded “War disciples” and created inspiration for more masterpieces.
