MARDY GRA is a hardcore/thrashmetal band from Austria. The group consists of vocalist/guitarist Tom (Thomas Eckhardt), guitarist Dan (Daniel Kohlmann), bassist Max (Markus Heißenberger) and drummer Matin (Martin Eckhardt). Formed in 2008, the band is best-known for their energetic and powerful life-performances!

MARDY GRA has played shows on many popular festivals and locations and with many well-known bands like Mono&Nikitaman, 3 Feet Smaller, Exilia, Alkbottle, Die Vamummtn, Kontrust, Spout etc. In the year 2010 MARDY GRA won the prestigious band contest “BandBoost” and they were honored as preliminary-round winners, crowd-favorites, jury-winners and finally overall-winner!!

MARDY GRA performs a crossover metal music style, which is a fusion between hardcore, thrashmetal and groovemetal. The vocals of Tom are frequently fluctuating between growls and also short rap-parts! MARDY GRA develops their unique band sound, with low and strong guitar-sounds, aggressive drumming and individual bass playing.
