Clara Haberkamp und Jakob Bänsch gehören zu den gefragtesten jungen Musiker*innen der deutschen Jazz- und Improvisationsszene.
Beide waren bereits für den Deutschen Jazzpreis nominiert (im Jahr 2024 gewann Jakob die Auszeichnung in der Kategorie Debüt-Album des Jahres) und mit ihren jeweiligen Bands bespielten Sie bereits Festivals wie Jazz Baltica oder die Leverkusener Jazztage. Außerdem präsentierten sie ihre eigene Musik bereits mit Ensembles wie der NDR bzw. WDR Big-Band.

Neben bekannten Jazz-Songs und eigenen Kompositionen fokussieren sich die beiden in ihrem Duoprojekt auch auf ihre jeweiligen klassischen Wurzeln. So dienen an diesem Abend in der intimsten und interaktivsten Besetzungsart vor allem Stücke aus dem Impressionismus wie z.B. von Maurice Ravel oder Alexander Scriabin als Improvisationsvorlage.

HINWEIS: Im Jahr 2024 starten die Konzerte im LOFT in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.

Clara Haberkamp and Jakob Bänsch are among the most sought-after young musicians on the German jazz and improvisation scene.
Both have already been nominated for the German Jazz Award (Jakob won the award in the Debut Album of the Year category in 2024) and have already played at festivals such as Jazz Baltica and the Leverkusen Jazz Days with their respective bands. They have also presented their own music with ensembles such as the NDR and WDR Big Band.

In addition to well-known jazz songs and their own compositions, the two also focus on their respective classical roots in their duo project. On this evening, in the most intimate and interactive of line-ups, pieces from the Impressionist period, such as those by Maurice Ravel or Alexander Scriabin, will serve as the basis for improvisation.

NOTE: In 2024, the concerts at the LOFT will start round 8pm - the LOFT opens approx. 30min before the concerts begin.
