Kurzes aber knackiges Update

Hallo Freunde!

Ja, die Gerüchte sind wahr, bei uns kam es zu einer erheblichen Umbesetzung. Ein erfolgreiches Kapitel und eine damit verbundene Ära wurde abgeschlossen, um ein neues Kapitel in der IRONY Historie aufzuschlagen und niederzuschreiben.
Vor Euch steht eine neue Ära und eine knackfrische Besetzung, die nur darauf brennt, Euch einzuheizen.

Was genau passiert ist, werden wir Euch sehr bald, wenn wir die neue Page hoch laden, zu Gemüte führen. Festhalten möchten wir nur schon mal vorab, dass kein böses Blut geflossen ist, sondern nur der normale Wandel der Zeit seinen Tribut forderte.
Auch wenn es für einen sehr kurzen Moment düster um IRONY aussah, sind doch nun alle sehr glücklich mit der neuen Situation. Das Schicksal setzte wie durch Zauberhand genau die richtigen Personen auf die freien Plätze. Heraus kam eine verjüngte, taufrische Besetzung, die jetzt schon wie Pech und Schwefel zusammenhält. Einige treue Fans konnten sich schon von der enormen Live- Qualität überzeugen, die im Heidelberger Schwimmbad Club bereits als quasi „Einstandsparty“ bewiesen wurde. Seit gespannt, es kommt Gewaltiges auf Euch zu!

Warum gab es bisher noch keine Infos?
Sorry, wir hatten alle Hände voll zu tun, da ja das neue Line-up fit für den ersten Gig gemacht werden musste. Tja, darüber hinaus schreiben wir bereits an neuen Songs und bereiten die neuen Web- und „myspace-„ Seiten vor. Auch wurde bereits ein neues Intro für unsere Live Shows erarbeitet. Wie Ihr seht, wird hinter den Kulissen mächtig geschafft. Aber seid unbesorgt, sobald wir das Fotoshooting hinter uns haben und die neuen Seiten fertig sind, gibt’s mehr Infos, und wir werden alle neuen Musiker ausgiebig vorstellen.


************** Biography 2005 - 2009 ******************
After their founding in 2000 and after having released two previous CD’s, “Release the Beast” (2001) and the 3-track ”Promo-2K5”(2005), which both got good to very good criticisms in national and international metal magazines, IRONY are back again and ready for their next strike. Yet the 3-track-promo CD “Promo-2K5” helped IRONY to get several “airplays” in different radio stations just like “Rock Station Kiel” (GER), “Tapp out Radio” (UK), “Jeans Generation” (Bosnia) and “Net Rock 101” (USA).

The constant commitment of the line-up consisting of Nicolaj Ruhnow (vocals), Manuel Förderer (guitar), Achim Rauscher (guitar), Paul Geiger (bass), Jörg Billeb (drums) and their management KBManagement International brought in many considerable concerts for IRONY with bands like JEFF SCOTT SOTO, GRAVEWORM, DISBELIEF, CRYSTAL BALL, LUNATICA, LANFEAR, MAJESTY, SPIRAL TOWER and TYRANT EYES all over Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In 2006 IRONY started to record the long awaited full-length successor to “Release the Beast”.

In 2006 IRONY took part at the “Global Battle of the Bands” and made it as the only Metal band into the finals. That shows once again the high quality of IRONY on stage. In November 2007 IRONY proudly signed a Record-Deal with the indie-Label SLEASZY RIDER RECORDS (Greece). Our Second CD"In the Beginning of ... Echoes from the Past!" was recorded at the well-known Beathouse Studios (SILENT FORCE, CREMATORY, TE DEUM) in 2006 and was mastered by Achim Köhler (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER, BRAINSTORM, CRYSTAL BALL etc.) and will be released in the near future. There’s a lot more to come, so be prepared!
