Bio

Grant Moff Tarkin got off around the turn of the century, when singer Julax and guitarist Huddie started writing songs together. In the spring of 2006 the band was joined by drummer Damien (also a member of Tagueule). Bass player Etherik (a.o. Rivercrest) completed the quartet in 2008. Both musician's talents proved a perfect complement to the eclectic style Huddie and Julax had been working on. Grant Moff Tarkin has elaborated a live set that offers both variety and energy, which has brought them to stages such as Muziekodroom (Hasselt), Hof Ter Lo (Antwerpen), Bilborock (Bilbao, Sp.), Platformtheater (Groningen, Nl.) or the Northern Sounds Festival (Lens, Fr). In 2006-2007 they were selected to be part of AB Cocoon. In collaboration with the Ancienne Belgique Grant Moff Tarkin did a variety of promo and recording sessions, and were programmed as the support to international acts such as The Lemonheads (US) and The Fiery Furnaces (UK). They released an ep ‘Age Old Moods’ (2005) and 2 full-cd's ‘Quanah’s Hunting Day’ (2008) and 'Long Lost Son' (2009)
