Naming ________________________

Chuck Taylor All Stars, also called "Chucks", are famous sneakers and of course an indispensable accessory of the young band.

Biography ______________________

The band was founded in 2005 and consists of the two brothers Alain and Steve Slimani,
Julian Felger, Marco Kollenz and Amine Benadouda. Their sound can be described as New-Rock
and develops through the playful power of the 3 guitarists increasingly becoming an hallmark
of the rock scene.

After numerous concerts in clubs in 2008, the guys had some gigs with renowned bands
such as Manfred Mans Earth Band, Michael Schenker Group, Pretty Maids, The Sweet…

Shortly before the turn of the year the Chucks were booked by the Marek Lieberberg concert agency as support act for a sold-out show of the band Airborne. There they left such a strong impression that they had to give hundreds of autographs after the show.

In addition to various own concerts, the absolute highlight in 2009 was the invitation
to the "Rock of Ages" festival, where they shared the stage with bands like Status Quo,
Gary Moore, Mothers Finest, Doro, and many others.

Furthermore, they played some support gigs with Y&T and Uriah Heep and at the invitation of
the SV Wiesbaden, the Chucks had an promotional gig at the new BRITA-Arena in front of about 9.000 visitors.

In 2010 they played many gigs and made it as support act for the band Foreigner at the Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt. And with the support of their fans, the band recorded their first
official video clip.

The video to ' me and myself ' was published at the beginning of 2011 and came directly
into the rotation at RCK.TV. The song was awarded as newcomer song by radio bigFM.

Currently the band is on new song material, to present their debut album as soon as possible...

Wann und wie habt ihr angefangen gemeinsam zu musizieren?
Es war eigentlich ein Zufall.
Steve hatte von der Schule aus Kontrabass gespielt und ich wurde total eifersüchtig und wollte auch ein Instrument spielen, da hat meien Vater mir eine Gitarre gekauft und so kam das ganze ins rollen.
Nach einer Zeit wechselte Steve zum Schlagzeug und wir suchten nach Musikern und sind gleich bei unseren besten Freunden fündig geworden.

Was ist das Besondere / Eigene an eurer Musik?
Unsere Musik ist genau das was in der heutigen Zeit bei jungen Bands fehlt.
Es gibt so viele Bands die viele verschiedenste Richtungen spielen doch wir finden, dass die geilen Gitarrensoli und harten Riffs fehlen. Die kombinieren wir nämlich mit gesanglich modernen Einflüssen.

Wer ist euer prominentester Fan?
Francis Buchholz (ehemaliger Bassist der Scorpions) hat sich unser Demo und war total begeistert.

Auf welchen Fan wärt ihr so richtig stolz? Warum?
Wir sind auch jetzt schon auf alle unsere Fans stolz, weil sie uns immer unterstützen.

Scorpions, Linkin Park, Guns n Roses, Nickelback, Metallica, Kiss, Slipknot, Foo Fighters, Motley Crue, led Zeppelin... uvm

Welche Alben betrachtet ihr als legendär?

Von vielen modernen Bands haben wir schon viel gehört befanden es aber nich mal für nötig sie illegal runter zu laden. (ihr wisst ja wen wir meinen)

Seid ihr ganz zufrieden mit eurem aktuellen Songmaterial? Arbeitet ihr an neuem? Was wird anders?
Wir sind zufrieden mit unserem Material, abrbeiten aber natürlich immer noch an unseren Songs und neuem Material.
Was anders wird kann ich jetzt noch nicht sagen.
Aber lasst euch doch einfach überraschen.

Mit welchen Bands würdet ihr euch am ehesten in eine Schublade stecken lassen?
Das ist eine ganz einfache Frage:
Wir bauen uns gerade eine eigene Schublade :)
Wir wollen mit niemandem verglichen werden und ich denke wenn man uns mal gesehen hat kann man das auch gar nicht.

Mit allen anderen

Wo und mit wem würdet ihr am liebsten einmal auftreten?
Am liebsten auf dem Download festival in Donnington (England) mit vielen bekannten Bands

Wo und wann habt ihr euren besten Gig gespielt?
Auf der Walpurgisnacht am Brocken, vor knapp 10.000 Besuchern.
Das war echt ein cooler Gig.

Wann würdet ihr sagen "Wir haben es geschafft?"
Wenn wir eine Welttournee spielen.

Wie ist eure Meinung zu regioactive.de? Was müsste eurer Meinung nach die ideale Plattform im Netz bieten?
Eigentlich hat regioactive.de alles zu bieten womit man rechlich Werbung für sich und seine Band machen kann.
