"I'll have a pint with you, Sir!"

Zum dritten Mal innerhalb kurzer Zeit haben wir uns vergangenen Freitag auf den Weg die A5 Richtung Süden gemacht. Nachdem wir in der Südpfalz und in Pforzheim ge-folk-rockt haben, sollte es nun ins schöne Bad Wildbad im Schwarzwald gehen. Das Jugendhaus hatte zur Irish Night geladen, und was läge näher als dazu die Idiots ins Boot zu holen?!

Irish Night? Genau, da darf natürlich das Guiness nicht fehlen! Und wenn einiges an Guiness geflossen ist - richtig, dann hebt das auch die Stimmung! So also geschehen, spätestens nachdem wir unser erstes Set hinter uns hatten und Sophie mit den Klängen von AC/DC die Pause beendete, war das Eis gebrochen und wir freuten uns mit dem tanzenden feiernden Publikum. Zu recht kann man als Höhepunkt des Abends die auf dem Tresen tanzenden Barkeeper sehen. Nachdem wir gefühlte 10 Zugaben gespielt hatten, mussten wir leider erschöpft die Bühne verlassen. Aus den vielen Gesprächen nach dem Konzert war für uns schnell klar: wir kommen wieder!!!

Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle noch einmal an das gesamte Orga Team um Jörg, an Soundmann Freddy, an den Koch (das Essen war passend zum Abend in den irischen Landesfarben) und an Hans-Henning für die tollen Bilder!

Auch die Tatsache, dass wir auf der nächtlichen Heimfahrt noch geblitzt wurden, konnte diesen sehr gelungenen Abend nicht mehr trüben und wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch bei euch! Um die Zeit bis dahin zu überbrücken, schaut ab und zu mal rein, es wird noch den ein oder anderen Song vom neuen Album zu hören geben! Und sehen tun wir uns dann spätestens am 24.4. in der Heidelberger Altstadt im "Karl".

For the third time in resent days, we have made our way to the south on the A5. After folk-rocking in the South Palatinate and in Pforzheim, our next destination was to be the quaint Bad Wildbad in the Black Forest. The Youth House was setting up an Irish Night and what would lie nearer than to ask the Idiots to join the party?!

Irish Night? Exactly, what would it be without Guinness!? And after the pouring of many pints - well, that just lifts the atmosphere! And so it was, at the latest after we’d completed our first set and Sophie finalised the break with sounds from AC/DC, the ice was broken and we rejoiced with the dancing, partying public. The climax of the evening would rightfully be the dancing barkeepers on the counter. After all the conversations after the concert, it was clear: we will return!!!

Thanks again to the entire organisation Team: Jörg, Freddy, the cook (even the food matched the evening in Irish national colours) and Henning for the fab pictures!

Even getting flashed on our way back home couldn’t tarnish the successful evening and we are already looking forward to our next visit! To bridge the time till then, look in now and again, one will be able to hear the one or the other song from the new album!
And we’ll see you at the latest on the 24.04 in Heidelbergs Old Town “Karl”.
