This ass-kickin' 4-piece from Benztown Rock City do definitely play as if their balls were on fire!

shoot a barrage of devastating Rock'N'Roll riffs, bouncing basslines and messed up lyrics into the crowd, while barrels of beer are consumed and occasionally various parts of the interior incenerated!
An allstar-team of (back-)stage-experienced motherfuckers, 8-Balls On Fire leave all the influences of their numerous other projects behind to deliver the pure In-Your-Face Rock'n'Roll sound that dominates their hearts and souls!

Wann und wie habt ihr angefangen gemeinsam zu musizieren?
Duff, Guy, Baseman and John have been playing together in various bands over the years (e.g. l ae i c h b:a u m, Homicidal Housepig or Smash Ventura).

Was ist das Besondere / Eigene an eurer Musik?
It's nothing new, it has always been there!
It's nothing special, it just IS!
It's not music, it's a force of nature!

Welche Liveclubs könnt ihr aus Musikersicht empfehlen? Warum?
In this area? There's by far not enough locations around here for local bands to present themselves and their work, especially since there's so many of them!
But we had some rather good times at the Cafe Central in Weinheim; as a performing band as well as in the audience!

Wo würdet ihr nie wieder auftreten? Warum?

I have no idea who the hell those guys think they are...!

Wer ist euer prominentester Fan?
Duffman's grand-dad! He's about 127 years old and invented the "Flailing-Mad-Monkey-Way-Of-Drinking-Beer,-Whiskey-And-Playing-The-Slide-Guitar-All-At-The-Same-Time"!!

Was sind eure Lieblingsbands?
Way to many to name them all here, but in general Puffball, The Misfits, Peter Pan Speedrock and Danko Jones are very popular among the band members...!

Welche Alben betrachtet ihr als legendär?
That's easily Faith No More's "The Real Thing", and we all agree on that!!
Not one song on there you'd have to skip, even after listening to it for about 20 years straight!!

Seid ihr ganz zufrieden mit eurem aktuellen Songmaterial? Arbeitet ihr an neuem? Was wird anders?
Absolutely! :)
But we're constantly brewing up new stuff! At the moment we're getting back to some faster material!

Wie würde der Titel eurer Bandbiografie lauten?

Mit welchen Bands würdet ihr euch am ehesten in eine Schublade stecken lassen?
Probably the fast-playing scandinavian rock bands like Bad Machine, Puffball, the Hellacopters or Gluecifer, Danko Jones would work too, though!
But I guess that's for the audience to decide!

Mit welchen Bands würdet ihr euch auf keinen Fall vergleichen?
What's the name of that band, the one that runs on Viva all day...??

Danko Jones!!! Who cares, where or when?!

Was war bislang euer größter Erfolg?
We were told that we were too loud on each and every location we played so far! And even if we turned all settings to minimum and John used a pair of McDonalds straws for drumsticks, we still managed to fry an amp!
We consider that as quite a success! ;)

Wann würdet ihr sagen "Wir haben es geschafft?"
When we can finally quit wasting precious ROCKing time on our regular jobs!!

Wie ist eure Meinung zu regioactive.de? Was müsste eurer Meinung nach die ideale Plattform im Netz bieten?
Regioactive is doing a pretty good job! Offers a good variety of ways to present yourself, get to know other bands and locations, good for connections, promo, got many partners and shows serious interest in supporting the local band- and music-scenes! Keep going!
